Hi, I’m Zohra – I used to feel like a stranger in my own body.

MS gate-crashed my 30s and refused to leave quietly. The diagnosis came with heavy treatments that knocked me sideways — my sleep went haywire, my weight fluctuated, and my energy disappeared. I felt exhausted and disconnected, and honestly? A little lost.

And the hardest part wasn’t the illness itself. It was the feeling that I had completely lost control over my own body.

(Just to be clear: I’m not a doctor, and nothing I share here is medical advice. Everything I talk about is based purely on my own personal experience and what has worked for me.)

The book that changed everything

One day, I stumbled across a book – Your Diet According to the Teachings of Dr. Kousmine — and something shifted. It opened a door I didn’t even know existed: a whole different way of thinking about health. Food as nourishment. Whole foods. Movement as healing. The body as something to work with rather than fight against.

I didn’t overhaul my life overnight. That’s not how real change works, is it?

I changed one thing at a time. One new habit at a time. And slowly, quietly, I began to rebuild — with a holistic mindset that looked at everything together: what I eat, how I move, how I rest, how I breathe, how I live.

A different kind of healthy

I rethought the way I eat — moving toward an anti-inflammatory, plant-based approach built on whole foods that genuinely nourish from the inside out.

I rethought the way I move, discovering yoga, gentle stretching, meditation and breathwork. Not punishing workouts. Not « no pain, no gain ». Just joyful, mindful ways to feel active, fit and full of energy.

I reconnected with nature. With stillness. With my own body — perhaps for the first time.

I’m still learning, still exploring, still discovering what it means to feel genuinely well at this stage of life. But I can tell you this: the holistic changes I’ve made have given me back something I thought I’d lost for good — a sense of ease in my own skin.
